What to expect when an engineer comes to visit
On the day of your appointment, you will receive a phone call from one of our trusted engineers. By notifying our customers of their engineer’s imminent arrival, they can prepare for their visit accordingly. Furthermore, by using our ‘My Repair’ section of our website, you’ll be able to see a photo of your engineer and be given a narrow timeframe of their arrival.
Upon their arrival, your engineer will provide you with official identification. This ensures that you’ll only be granting access to legitimate Domex specialists. Your engineer will then put on some cover shoes, protecting your home from unwanted debris and dirt.
As soon as the problem has been identified, our highly skilled and experienced specialists will get to work fixing your appliance. Upon work completion, your Gas Safe registered engineer will carry out safety checks, ensuring our customers won’t be put at risk when they come to use their dryer again.
Once your tumble dryer has been repaired, our expert will present you with an eService receipt. This confirms that work has been carried out safely and successfully. You can view all of your paperwork on our ‘My Repair’. You’ll also be able to use this feature to change appointment times, see a photo of your engineer and be given a timeframe in which to expect them.
